Joy and Happiness

February 8, 2011

There is a difference in joy

And happiness are related

Relying one upon the other

Neither dependent upon the other

Like love

Needs to want but needs

To not need

Becomes oppressive not warm

Is wanting so bad

That it hurts to be apart

From joy is no happiness

In need form

Destroys joy

Is gladness in the absence

Of happiness

Regardless of pain

Is necessary for life

Is necessary for joy

In the face of trial

Is dancing on the graves

Of brutal men and brutal times

Joy is the victory
